Yeah so I'm not doing so well at keeping this updated, but oh well.
Life has been crazy... as most of you know both of my grandfather's passed away last weekish. Which led to me running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Ah well.
Yesterday was my grandfather gene's funeral... which was very nice; lots of people so that's good. Nicholas provided the comic relief, of course. hehehehe. I almost died, though, on the way to O'Hare yesterday morning... there was so much snow and winter weather warnings... every stoplight almost my cabdriver had to get out and scrape the ice and stuff off the windshield and the taxi was swerving all over the road... geeeez. Fortunately, I made it to evansville and then back again last night. Thanks to all who have loved me over the last couple of weeks in my craziness... especially Sam, who I drove absolutely crazy.
Ok, small update, now time to play massive catch up and clean up my room.
oooohhhh baby baby it's a wide world
Specks Machine
nothing special... just random bits of my life so people don't forget me.

So apparantly there's some real sh*t happening at North. To all who read my blog that care about it/ go to it/whatever: support sunil! And not just in a wear-a-tshirt way, but also give him hugs and love. because that's just as important. Think of it as morale.
I'm about to head over to KD to do the first degree initiation for the new member... ooooooooooo! I met a bunch of them last night and they all seem really cool. yay for that... I'm excited for this winter/spring and getting to know them.
On another note, I went to Kaffeestunde today and I'm thinking that it might be better for me to spend more than a few weeks in the summer in Germany. Because I'm majoring in it and that would look better. So we'll see. I have a bit of time left. I just don't know.
What else... oh yeah, nothing. Right now my life consists of getting caught up and back on track. And praying that my computer doesn't crash... I got the blue screen of death today. The end could be near. Bleh, I think Chris is going to reformat though so maybe that will help? it'll just suck. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
Do you realize?

I'm trying to get back in all my old habits. Like wasting time updating things on the computer ;-). So I'm having a lovely afternoon reading and uploading more cds onto my ipod. I'm taking a break though. no more Henry Kissinger.
My momma (pledge) came and visited me just now! Wonderful, because I haven't seen her for months. Seriously. For once, I don't exaggerate.
So I'm looking around my room trying to think of something interesting to say, and I realize I really should be cleaning, not typing. Oh the exciting life I lead!
What is exciting is that tonight is bid night! I get to meet all the girls who will now be in KD who I haven't met... so I'm pretty excited. :-). Also, it'll be in the signature room at the Hancock so that is super awesome.
Off to go clean...
Come in and wear your welcome out, the way you always do. . . (I'm not depressed, that line is just stuck in my head ;-))

Ok... so this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay late. Sorry for the big space but I just got so busy and swamped and never thought about updating this. however, due to popular demand, it's back!
I didn't even realize that it was "taken over" until almost christmas. And even then, it was Alex and Glen that mentioned it and so if it hadn't been for them I would have never seen it. So since Thanksgiving my life has been busy and crazy and wooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. Here is a brief (very) summary:
December: Finals, which was the week from hell. As in, got the times for two of my finals (but didn't miss them) wrong, computer crashed, crap crap mc crap, I can't even remember anymore. But it was bad. Then Christmas vacation which consisted of me working almost every day at B&N. Yay for money. Not yay for not really having a vacation. Ah well. That's life.
New Years Eve rocked... yay for having an absolutely fabulous party in Bloomington... pictures to come soon at my picture page, which is also in dire need of updating. Then back to school... classes are fine, books are too many.
This past weekend I spent everywhere and then some. Last monday or tuesday I found out my Grandpa Stanley (dad's dad) had a really bad stroke and so everyone (even my mom!) was going out to delaware. So thursday I hop on a plane to go to delaware and plan on coming back early sunday morning. No problem. Then friday morning we find out that my OTHER grandpa has less than a week left so we fly back to evansville. weeeeeeeeeee. Summary: lots of hospital time, 7 airports, 8 states, about 84 hours.
So that's my life up until now. Things should calm down soon.... if they don't, it ain't my fault.
Time for class. Hooray!
Beware the Reign of Terror!
