So, back at school... but I think this quarter is going to be the best one ever. First, the weather is fantastic. Second, I have a really good schedule. :-)

For those of you who want to see pictures of my spring break, go here:
Sam is Lame and won't give me the card to put the pictures on my computer

That's all... I'm really hungry and need food. NOW!

BEST SPRING BREAK EVER!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm back from spring break... which was the most amazing thing times 10 to the millionth. Many, many thanks to Evan and his parents and his beautiful house/city!

Also, it's getting to be almost a month since my last update, so I feel I ought to update you all (and brag about the wonderfulness of spring break).

Here is a somewhat quick rundown of all of the fabulousness that occurred:

Saturday: flew to Raleigh-Durham Airport, then Evan drove us to his house in Wilmington (right on the ocean!!) where we ate delicious barbequed STEAK and potatoes and corn on the cob and delicious things. Then we played poker to decide who got what room. Then we got in Evan's hottubs (they have two!) and hung out til bedtime :-).
Sunday: Woke up early (like, 11? I don't even remember now) but because it was WARM and SUNNY. Ate breakfast/brunch from all of the bagels and sandwich fixin's Evan's mom bought us. Then we played with Evan's dogs for awhile before going to the beach. There, we played football, Sam got mad at me for not picking him on my team ;-), and we buried kenny, except for his shorts. Lots of fun. After the beach, we met the Wasch's at their boat dock place and took the boat out to the ocean. SO. MUCH. FUN. I've decided now that I absolutely have to live on the ocean, no question about it. Evan's dad let each of us try driving the boat and it was WONDERFUL. Towards the end, we pulled into a restaurant that lets you dock your boat there and then come up for a meal, drink, whatever... we had snacks of crab legs and shrimp before heading back to the boat and then back to the dock. OH! Importantly, as we all learned, the island directly across from the marina where their boat is kept is the final plot of land given to the Confederates when the lost the Civil War. True! Why else would they be flying a confederate flag? ;-) Next, we went back to Evans house, I can't remember exactly what, but we probably got in the hottubs again and played poker? OH! We went to Texas Roadhouse where some guy asked Nafis in the bathroom if he/we were "international students". It was funny :-).
Monday: Played tennis with Evan's mom (all of us) which was LOTS of fun... also, My serves were PERFECT! AFter all those lessons, all I needed was a year off ;-). Then we played basketball. I, of couse, was the star. No one can come close to my basketball skillz. Following my ownership of all the guys in sports, we went downtown to the riverfront and walked around before going to some small music store and then Tony's Pub for dinner. We finished the day by going bowling... once again, I owned because I rock. (just so you guys know... I am joking... I'm not really this full of myself ;-)). Then we went back to Evans house and had CNS (chips and salsa) and some drinks in the bigger of the two hottubs :-).
Tuesday: WEnt to see Fort Fisher, which was amusing because they referred to the Union as the "federals" and played ominious music in the informational video we watched everytime the federals were mentioned. We walked around there for awhile and climbed on some cannons, then we drove to Myrtle Beach via a ferry (and of course highways, but we also took a ferry part of the way). There, we played putt putt on an AWESOME course (I won ;-)) and then had some snacks. Kenny got Anchovie and Pineapple pizza (=nastiest stuff on earth) and everyone else got normal pizza hut type things except for me and Evan, who went to a cute little ice cream store with the most DELIOCIOUS ice cream ever. yum yum yum. I looooooooooooooove ice cream. Then, we went on a gambling cruise. I lost money. whoops. However, both Evan and Kenny came out like 75 dollars or so on top. Maybe it was 50. regardless, for an amusing opinion on the cruise, im UrsusXVI and ask him his :-). AFter that, we went to waffle house and ate. wonderful. Then home, then bed.
Wednesday: Took the boat to a private island/beach and had a PICNIC and walked around on the beach. lots of fun! We saw dolphins really close to shore and it was the coolest thing EVER. After the boat, we went back to Evan's House and then hung out until Kenny, Anthony, and Nafis left. :-( sadness! AFter they left, we ate dinner and then went to an arcade-type place that had unlimited games with a college id and a 5 dollar cover... lots of fun! Then I think we went home and to bed. I don't remember.
Thursday: woke up, packed, started to drive to the airport. THEN Evan got a flat tire. He called his dad and while we were waiting for him/trying to switch the tires a pickup stopped (supposedly) to help us. Inside was Dennis, nicknamed Weasle. Who was drunk, and possibly something else. HIGHLY, HIGHLY amusing. Weasle cannot be done justice here so I won't even try.... but know he was a southern hick who randomly had 30 minutes to "just give you advice" (in a thick southern accent). Then we sped to the airport... flew to ohare, got delayed (go figure) got into Evansville about 11:30ish, slept, slept, slept, read, slept, etc. until I flew back today.

Like I said, Best Spring Break Ever. Pictures soon to come, but I have to steal them from Sam ;-).

Naah (southern now), Ah'm jes here fur advahce

What what what?! Is this an update?!

HOLY SHIT!

Yes, Alison is updating. Thanks to 5 page german paper due tomorrow... bleh. Looking for lots of ways to procrastinate. I'm actually at Sam's right now (shhhh, don't tell ;-)). hehehehe.

Life (believe it or not) is crazy busy. Look at my picture site. It's fun.

I was supposed to go see Jerry Springer today, however, my need to write this paper overcame my desire to see white trash yell at each other. Ah well. I guess I'll live somehow...

Yeah, other than that... it's been a pretty lame reading week. Mostly because I haven't let myself do anything because I should be doing work. Alas, I'm really not getting too much work done. Stupid computers keep distracting me.

So I should probably do some work... at least I got a 5 min break ;-).
