Life

I think now I'm afraid to post anything very detailed, or any of my opinions. Because of what happened in february. Of course, I knew that that would happen. Ah well. If any of you care, or are reading this at all, I'm going to try to be better, especially when I go to germany.
It's hard, though, to write things. Because I'm not specifically talking to anyone and see this as more of a diary, there isn't any specific conversation. And most of the stuff I learn day to day deals with things that I just can't write on here. Like the last couple of days. Lots of stuff has happened. But all I feel like putting up here is the little things.
Then again, I think that's more of what I've just been doing in general lately... busying myself with little things, so I don't have to think. Not even lately, for a long time. Now, I don't want to sound like I don't think about bigger things in life. It's just those inevitably involve my family and that's hard to discuss with anyone unless you're in a very intimate situation.
Life sucks. Not really... but we're all given these choices, what our goals are, what we care about. How we will see ourselves as a success. My mom's entire life focuses around us. Meaning the 4 kids. It floors me how much she sacrificed for us... and I'm so, so lucky. Because I can't imagine what would have happened if she hadn't. If she had decided that she needed to live life for herself.

We'll all float on.

HOT!!

IT IS SO FRIKIN HOT!
I don't know how people lived before airconditioners. Well I do, they slept naked and took lots and lots of cold showers. But I don't know what people did before then. They must have just killed each other. Like in France. Like Sam joked today: it's the same as the Reign of Terror... it got hot in France, everyone got pissed off and they just started chopping each other's heads off. Well, it's about to happen here.
On the bright side, I'm really clean b/c I've taken so many cold showers. They're quite nice, once you get over the shock of freezing water. sad thing is, the effect only lasts like, 10, 15 min. *whimper*.
Ok, now that I'm done venting, back to IR studying. Considering I've blown it off all evening (although I did get to watch Bridget Jones w/ Courtney and Jillian! Huzzah!)

It's raining men!

perhaps my favorite picture from Dillo Day... drunk Kenny insisting Mike that he *had* to grill his pizza.

Blasts from the Past

Craziest things happen in multiples:
So last week, in the midst of my holocaust final paper writing extravaganza, a friend that I went to Germany with ages ago (like 3 years?) called me and we talked for awhile and remembered stuff. It was strange, but not completely random, because we've talked online a couple of times and since he goes to Loyola, I gave him my number so we could meet up sometime and hang out.
but THEN
OUt of the blue, Evan O'Donnell ims me, saying that he randomly tuned into WNUR and heard me! so we just had a conversation online and I just can't believe it.
In anycase, I thought I'd say something here, considering people are upset I don't keep this updated ;-).

And all the roads that lead us there are winding...
