hahaha, I'm sorry, but this must live in infamy (in my blog)
two students were mugged at gunpoint last night. Here is an excerpt from the story:
"I was hesitant and thinking about throwing the wallet under the car but he said, 'I'll blaze your ass,'" Carter said. "I was thinking, 'I still got homework to do tonight.'"

sadly, I wonder what would go through my head at that point. I don't know if I would think, "oh shit, I'm going to die if I don't do what he says." I mean, I ought to think that, and I expect that I would think that. But it is also likely that I just think, crap, this is my favorite purse. or crap, my lucky audrey dollar bill is in my wallet. hmmmmm.
