The Real World
I'm slowly spiraling deeper into the real world. Although I have yet to find a job (correction: yet to be hired. I've found a job that I want oh-so-much, but won't hear anything for awhile.), I've reached the decision to start looking for apartments. Because I'm staying in Chicago, even if I have to end up working for B&N again.
So I'm looking for apartments without a job. Or income. Ah well.
I found a great one on craigslist that is perfect. It has a dishwasher and a backyard with a pond. I'm looking at it tomorrow.
On Monday, I'm meeting with a realty company to travel around with them while they show me apartments they have listed. My problem is that I don't want a studio. I need rooms, separate spaces. Unfortunately, walls cost more. This morning I just looked at prices of 1 bedroom apartments throughout Chicago and no matter what I do I'm going to be cutting it close with the finances (maybe my job will pay me more than I expect! ;-)).
I'm going to see the Devil Wears Prada now with Miriam. Hooray!
